What did the ending of Riddick mean?
Spoilers ahead in case you havent seen the ending on the extended DVDs: Riddick sneaks his way back into the Necromonger fleet and into Krones chambers. He discovers that Vaako meant to keep his promise and that Krone had betrayed Riddick on his own.
What is the film Riddick about?
Left for dead on a sun-scorched planet, fugitive Riddick (Vin Diesel) fights for survival against alien predators more lethal than any human he has yet encountered. His only hope for escape is to activate an emergency beacon, but that brings with it a different problem: mercenaries. The first ship carries an especially violent and lethal group; the second is led by a man from Riddick’s past. Is Riddick a prequel to Pitch Black?
The Chronicles of Riddick: Escape from Butcher Bay (2004) It acts as a prequel to Pitch Black, and involves Riddick’s escape from the eponymous prison, Butcher Bay. The game was very well received and it is often listed among “the greatest Xbox games of all time”.
Will there be a Riddick 5?

Though the Wiki suggests he’s “Chaotic Evil” in D&D terms, I’d think “Chaotic Neutral” (or maybe Neutral Evil) might be closer to the mark. Before Pitch Black he was presumably “evil”. Post-PB he’s just has Action Movie Morality.
What happened to John’s in pitch black?
Another of the deadly aliens charged him and John pulled the trigger to no effect, as he had accidentally loaded his shotgun with some of the morphine shells he depended on. Riddick silently watched from the shadows as the alien impaled Johns and then decapitated him.
