How old do you have to be to go to MB2?
You must be 48′ tall and able to apply proper pressure to the gas and brake. To race our adult karts, you must be 12 years old, 57′ tall, and the same ability to apply proper pressure to the gas and brake if you are not able to apply proper pressure to the gas or brake pedal you will not be allowed to race.
How much is K1 Speed per person?
The cost of a K1 Speed Annual Membership is only $7 and you get all of the above! As you can see, you’ll get one free race within the week of your birthday – that’s over $20 in value alone!
Can I fit in a go kart?
While there is no go karting weight limit, heavier drivers definitely do need to put in a little extra to match the lap times of their lighter counterparts. Heavier drivers should: Drive as smoothly as possible.

Can go karts flip over?
The question is: can go-karts flip or is it possible to flip a go-kart? Well, the short answer is yes, it’s definitely is possible! Go karts can flip and when they do, it’s extremely dangerous and will most likely cause injury to the driver. Go-karts are constructed with an extremely low center of gravity.
How much does K1 Karting cost?
You only pay for each event they race in. And what’s the cost? It’s just $40 per child, per event to compete in K1 Speed’s Junior League.
How heavy is too heavy for go karting?
There isn’t a specific limit on our karts, but particularly tall, short or heavier drivers may find driving uncomfortable or may not be able to fit in the karts. We recommend a maximum height of 6’4” and a maximum weight of 18 stone, although we have plenty of drivers above this limit that race with us every day.
Are Go karts street legal?
The short answer is no. You shouldn’t drive your go-kart on the neighborhood road, sidewalk, parks or other public areas. As go-karts are recreational vehicles, they must stay off public roads and premises. You should only be driving your go-kart at a race track, on designated trails or on private property.
