Can I install fibre broadband myself?
You will not be able to install your broadband yourself if you need a new phone line or cable installed in your home. Why is my broadband so slow all of a sudden?
There are many reasons your Internet connection might appear slow. It could be a problem with your modem or router, Wi-Fi signal, signal strength on your cable line, devices on your network saturating your bandwidth, or even a slow DNS server.
What can cause broadband to drop out?
The most common causes are either faulty or poor wiring in the home, including microfilters; or, slightly more problematically, poor wiring between the home and the local exchange. Dropping can also be due to overcapacity, although it’s unlikely to cause a frequently recurring dropped connection.
